We are an innovative SaaS cybersecurity startup, pioneering in securing digital systems through continuous autonomous ethical hacking. Leveraging AI and ethical hacking, we achieve over 99% effectiveness in detecting vulnerabilities.

As a Backend Engineer at Ethiack, you'll play a vital role in our mission, developing and enhancing our backend functionalities and fixing issues. Your efforts will be key to advancing our platform, ensuring robustness and scalability, aligning with our goal of setting new standards in cybersecurity.

 

 

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with our frontend team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic efficiently.
• Optimize application for speed and scalability while ensuring application security.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and providing robust technical solutions.
• Work alongside the product team to define and implement new features and services but also fix issues and bugs in the backend.
• Ensure code quality, security and organization, adhering to best practices in backend development.

 

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python (experience in web frameworks like Flask is a plus)
• Experience with database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and web server technologies (Nginx, Apache).
• Experience in ORM technologies for web apps
• Familiarity with cloud services (Google Cloud) and Docker.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and experience with cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficiency in English, with additional languages (especially Portuguese) being a plus.
