Security Researcher

Are you a skilled hacker who loves building and breaking stuff? Do you like to do research and disclose CVEs in software? Ethiack is seeking a Security Researcher like you! We are a SaaS startup, pioneering in securing digital systems through continuous autonomous ethical hacking.

Role Overview:

As a Security Researcher at Ethiack, you'll play an important role in our mission of making the Internet safer, by conducting vulnerability research, finding vulnerabilities and new CVEs and improving the core of our automated hacking. Your efforts will be key to advancing our research and our platform, aligning with our goal of setting new standards in offensive security.
 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research and sharing findings and potential new techniques
  • Develop modules and improve our framework for autonomous ethical hacking
  • Review modules and validate vulnerabilities to ensure they are valid
  • Collaborate with AI engineers/researchers
  • Write blog posts about hacking techniques and CVEs
  • Present research at security conferences
 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python
  • Familiarity with cloud services and Kubernetes/Docker
  • Solid understanding of pentesting, vulnerabilities, CVEs, CVSS, web exploitation
  • Nice to have: Capture the Flag / Bug Bounty experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages (especially Portuguese) being a plus.
